Mission Statement
The principle mission of the Northfield Police Department is to preserve community safety, protect life and property, and reduce crime. We strive for the highest degree of fairness, professionalism and integrity. Through community partnership we promote individual responsibility and community commitment to identify, prevent and solve social problems. We recognize the fact that we cannot be successful without the continued participation of all town departments, boards, committees, schools, business owners and residents. Our mission is facilitate such participation for the purpose of keeping the Town of Northfield a safe place to live, visit or do business.
